We currently ship test data with a wheel, what is really not needed and unnecesarily increases distribution size.

It might also be useful to ship fonts in a separate package. These do not change often and including them in every Weblate release just duplicates the content on PyPI side.

We might also strip incomplete locales from dist.

Test data seems to be intentionally included in the sdist.

Should be possible to prune/exclude it here without moving the tests or test data around actually.

Yes makes sense. The intention is now to remove both tests and test data from the dist?

I think it might stay in the sdist (that is a topic for discussion), but it definitely should not be present in the wheel.

Fonts split is in #17705. The fonts wheel is 45 MB, so this helps a lot with the size.
