Request for update on keycloak documentation and utilization within OSISM #952
Description
I found it difficult to understand how Keycloak is integrated, used, and configured within the OSISM ecosystem.
While Keycloak is (might be) deployed as part of the OSISM service stack, its role, configuration patterns, supported use cases, and integration points are not fully explained in the current documentation. Integration of keycloak is, among others, mentioned here: https://osism.tech/docs/release-notes/osism-7#701-20240327
I would like to raise a request for an extension to the OSISM documentation to make Keycloak’s purpose and usage clearer for new users and operators.
Additional considerations would be helpful regarding following additional questions:
- How is Keycloak used within OSISM/other components?
- How can (should) it be used in a central function for the whole cluster?
- How could an independent Keycloak be integrated with OSISM?
- To what extend is the group/profile setup for OpenStack Service already implemented/automated?
