Feature Request Description

When moving a window between screens of different sizes, the current behavior can be inconsistent. If the initial screen is smaller, the window retains its original size. However, when moving to a larger screen, users typically prefer the window to remain maximized if it was maximized on the first screen. To improve this, the window resizing mechanism should calculate size based on screen percentage rather than absolute pixel dimensions.

Hi bro, at the current time, you can create a custom cycle to keep the window maximized when you move to another screen.

    • Maximize → 1

I had to say its not a prefect solution, if you use the cycle I provide to move and maximize a window, it seems to be fully maximized, but if you call maximize action again, you well noticed that the window grow a little bit larger, which means the cycle didn't perfectly maximized it.

Well, it's annoyed me that most window management tools like rectangle or raycast can't keep the size after moving to the next screen. But on Windows, you didn't need to worry about this at all, just win + -> and win + ->.

By the way. I had check the "User macos window management" and "tiled window has margin".

I uncheck this "use macos window management" and it become perfect.

If you check the use macos window management, the padding will be '9px' rather than '8px' if you use this custom cycle, seems to be a loop bug.

I will raise another bug about this.

There is another mine issue, #692, about deeplink or URLScheme.

If Loop supports URLScheme, we can create a shell script that combines "next screen" and "maximize" or "previous screen" and "maximize".
