Currently, when editing an en-US KB article, you'll see the "Expiry date" field. It corresponds to the expires field of the revision (form | model).
As far as I can see, the only place where it appears is https://support.mozilla.org/contributors/kb-overview, and it doesn't seem to be actively used. I suggest removing this field from the edit document page and from the KB overview, and probably removing the field from the model.
