Connection to SQL Endpoint on Lakehouse using SMO #221
Description
After talking with @jovanpop-msft who was trying to load data into a lakehouse using the SQL Endpoint and dbatools, I went down a rabbit hole of trying to get this to work. Then I talked to the wonderful Drew who pointed out that this was not possible and suggested opening an issue.
Is this something that can be implemented to enable automated querying against Lakehouses?
I can see that the use case will be using many automated runners to interact with data stores in Fabric via SQL Endpoints.
