Description: The layer_map module copies data from an external communication buffer into a stack-allocated msg structure without validating that the buffer size does not exceed the structure size. If initiator2target_buffer_size exceeds sizeof(msg), this causes a stack buffer overflow. This is the most severe finding because it processes externally-sourced data from the split keyboard communication channel.
