Drag-and-drop UNC

Virtualbox Drag and drop from Windows Host cannot handle UNC folders (for me it doesn't work with 7.0.26).

Drag-and-drop is generally fragile: if error occurs due to misplacing on top of a program or another reason - subsequent drops in the same session may not work, dragging a lot of files/subfolders sometimes doesn't work, mouse clicks become erratic after drag-and-drop (especially if there was an error) (mouse cursor moves, but clicking doesn't do anything or dragging the mouse stops working inside the guest Windows after drag-and-drop from host to guest fails), etc.

Just to clarify: You're talking about dragging files from host -> guest, right?

Which VBox host version, which Windows guest, which Guest Additions version? Many information are missing here ... please follow the issue creation template first.

Dragging from UNC folder on the host -> guest folder inside VHD from which the guest is booting.

VBox 6.1 to 7.2 on Windows 10 all versions and Win11 24H2, guests are Windows 10 and 11 - all versions.

I think Issue was made before the Issue template.
