crashing on 1.20.1 forge server, confusing description of releases

so on the releases page there is an information:

,but BlueMap-5.7 is for minecraft 1.21

i've tried some different combinations and didn't get any of them to work:

BlueMap-5.3-forge-1.20, BlueMapModelLoaders-forge-0.2.2:
"Failure message: Mod bluemapmodelloaders requires bluemap 5.7 or above, and below 5.8 Currently, bluemap is 5.3":

BlueMap-5.3-forge-1.20, BlueMapModelLoaders-forge-1.20-0.2.0:
"Failure message: BlueMapModelLoaders (bluemapmodelloaders) has failed to load correctly java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: de/bluecolored/bluemap/core/resources/pack/resourcepack/ResourcePackExtensionType"

BlueMap-5.7, BlueMapModelLoaders-forge-0.2.2:
blueMap 5.7 is for 1.21

from what i get none of these errors are related to the rest of the pack (monifactory)

so the questions I ask are:
What versions of the BlueMap and BlueMapModelLoaders were I actually supposed to use for minecraft 1.20.1?
And if they were correct, then what did i do wrong?

Sorry didn't saw this earlier. There is an unofficial backport for bluemap 5.7 to forge 1.20, which was previously accessible through this link and the artifacts at the bottom, but apparently the download link expired in the last two months :c https://github.com/BlueMap-Minecraft/BlueMap/actions/runs/14155489410 .

I found this jar (bluemap-5.7-mc1.20-3-forge.zip) in my 1.20 test instance: it's either the original version from the expired link or a version with a small shader improvement that I compiled (that is also part of 5.8).

Alternatively you can also compile the backport yourself if you use this branch: https://github.com/BlueMap-Minecraft/BlueMap/tree/mc1.20
