Trying to add a custom start menu icon doesn't work.

Describe the bug

When I try to open the file explorer in the settings to add a custom icon for my start menu, it does nothing.

To reproduce

1. Go to Open-Shell Menu Settings
2. Select Custom for Replacing the Start button
3. Click on Pick image...
4. Nothing happens

Expected behavior

Windows Explorer is supposed to open to let me select my custom icon.

Same happens with mine. Also when trying to backup, then clicking on Save to XML File... nothing happens at all and can't back everything up

You may use this workaround for now until the bug is fixed: You may successfully launch the dialog windows after opening the item opening dialogs BY HOVERING THE MOUSE OVER THE START MENU.

Afraid that "workaround" only open a broken window of the file explorer. Can't even select where the icon is.

From my experience so far, "the Hover" had to be repeated as quickly as possible at every selection (such as when choosing a new folder in a dialog)...

The workaround worked for me to open the file explore but like @Deadfalt999 I couldn't navigate to the folder containing the icon. I was able to select the icon by typing out the path and filename longhand.

(I now have the issue that the new button doesn't scale as desired between laptop screen and attached 4K 43" monitor. Laptop has 4K resolution screen with 250% scaling. Second monitor has same resolution but only 100% scaling needed because of its size.)

I had the same problem. After installing the Explorer Patcher, the dialog box suddenly worked.
