## The Transit Enthusiast

MocaKawai took her name from Aoba Moca of *BanG Dream!*.

Whichever Moca you have in mind,

both are impossibly endearing,

both a little scatterbrained — the kind of person you can’t help but look at twice.

As a transit enthusiast,

Moca played a wide range of simulation and management games,

including *Rail Route* and *Cities: Skylines*.

She would often stare at route maps, lost in thought, designing the perfect transit network for some imaginary city.

She also played *Fall Guys* and *Among Us*.

She was always warm and lively in the comment sections of her videos, sometimes sharing little tips and tricks with her friends there.

Having lived in Sanya for most of her life, Moca knew the city’s public transit system inside and out.

She filmed a great many transit-related videos, the majority of which were front-window POVs of Sanya’s bus routes.

For those who follow transit POVs, what matters most is not the footage itself, it is the mood.

A different route, a different hour, a different state of mind, and the POV becomes something else entirely, something hard to put into words.

Moca understood this.

She gave each of her POV videos a carefully chosen title, passing on that sense of being *there* to her friends:

Nearly a year later, she [revisited and refined the map](https://www.bilibili.com/read/cv2497345811), adding several intercity routes to the original design.

Her love for transit was much like the titles she wrote.

Every bit of it sincere, and quietly romantic.

## Escape from the Island

In the summer of 2023, Moca’s mental health deteriorated sharply for a number of reasons, and she began to overdose.

The pressure of her final year of high school soon followed.

At the end of August, a suicide attempt landed her in the ICU.

She survived, but things did not truly get better.

After being discharged, she lost her partner, lost her friends, and her physical condition worsened.

Afterwards, Moca took a leave of absence from school.

She had few friends in Sanya, so she decided to travel to the Yangtze River Delta — to wander through cities she had never been to before.

The trip allowed her to meet friends she had only known online, and for a while, it eased some of her pain.

摩卡好可爱的名字来源于《BanG Dream!》的青叶摩卡。无论是哪个「摩卡」，都很惹人可爱，也都会偶尔犯迷糊，让人忍不住多看一眼呢。

作为交通迷之一，摩卡游玩过包括《铁路调度模拟器》、《都市：天际线》在内的多款模拟经营游戏。她常常会盯着线路图思考，为某座虚拟的城市量身定做交通规划。

此外，她也游玩过《糖豆人》、《太空狼人杀》。她总是热情地与视频评论区中的朋友们互动，有时候还会传授大家一些游戏小技巧。

因为长期在三亚生活的缘故，她对这座城市的公共交通系统了如指掌。她拍摄了许多交通相关的视频，其中最多的就是三亚公交的前方展望 POV。
